Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
