TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
